वनवास जा रहे है,
रघुवंश के दुलारे,
हारे है प्राण जिसने,
लेकिन वचन ना हारे,
वनवास जा रहे हैं,
रघुवंश के दुलारे।।
जननी ऐ जन्मभूमि,
हिम्मत से काम लेना,
चौदह बरस है गम के,
इस दिल को थाम लेना,
बिछड़े तो फिर मिलेंगे,
हम अंश है तुम्हारे,
वनवास जा रहे हैं,
रघुवंश के दुलारे।।
प्यारे चमन के फूलों,
तुम होंसला ना छोड़ो,
इन आंसुओ को रोको,
ममता के तार तोड़ो,
लौटेंगे दिन ख़ुशी के,
एक साथ जो गुजारे,
वनवास जा रहे हैं,
रघुवंश के दुलारे।।
इसमें है दोष किसका,
उसकी यही रजा है,
होकर वही रहेगा,
किस्मत में जो लिखा है,
कब पथिक यह करि है,
होनी किसी के टारे,
वनवास जा रहे हैं,
रघुवंश के दुलारे।।
वनवास जा रहे है,
रघुवंश के दुलारे,
हारे है प्राण जिसने,
लेकिन वचन ना हारे,
वनवास जा रहे हैं,
