बरसो पाप किये है हमने,
चुपके चोरी चोरी,
इतने पापों को धोने में,
वक्त तो लगता है,
पावन और निर्मल होने में,
वक़्त तो लगता है,
इतने पापो को धोने में,
वक़्त तो लगता है।।
हमने नफरत के पौधों को,
जीवन में सींचा,
प्रेम के बीज यहाँ बोने में,
वक़्त तो लगता है,
इतने पापो को धोने में,
वक़्त तो लगता है।।
एक दो चार नहीं तेरी मांगे,
मांग हज़ारो है,
इतनी चाहत को पाने में,
वक़्त तो लगता है,
इतने पापो को धोने में,
वक़्त तो लगता है।।
दुनिया के चक्कर में फसा तू,
मोह के फंदे में,
घर से इस दर तक आने में,
वक़्त तो लगता है,
इतने पापो को धोने में,
वक़्त तो लगता है।।
