Yagneswarar Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located near to Thiruvarur Thyagaraja Temple in Thiruvarur Town in Thiruvarur District of Tamilnadu. This Temple is an east facing temple situated beautifully on the banks of the great Thiruvarur Temple pond. Presiding Deity is called as Yagneswarar and is facing east. Mother is called as Uthravediambal and is facing south. Shrines for Ganesha and Navagraha can be found in the prakaram. The specialty here is that the Navagrahas are in one line.

The Temple is located on the opposite side of the western gopuram of Thiruvarur Thyagaraja Temple and on the other side of the pond. Thiruvarur is located at about 70 Kms from Thanjavur, 120 Kms from Trichy, 42 Kms from Kumbakonam, 26 Kms from Nagapattinam, 31 Kms from Thiruthuraipoondi, 41 Kms from Karaikkal and 29 Kms from Mannargudi. Nearest Railway Station is located at Thiruvarur and Nearest Airport is located at Trichy.
