Mahadeva Khola is positioned on the banks of Umshyrpi River in Shillong. This temple is famous as one of the ancient temples in North- East region. It is said that there is a cave which used to lead to Kamakhya temple at Guwahati. People celebrate the most renowned Shiva Festival- Maha Shivratri every year.
