Temples in Jharkhand

Jharkhand was carved out of Bihar state in the year 2000. Ranchi is the capital of Jharkhand state. Jharkhand has a rich cultural history even before the Magadha Empire. It is also believed by scholars that the language used by Jharkhand tribals is very much similar to the one used by the Harappan people. Jharkhand has many ancient temples.
