 Venugopala Swamy Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu located at Uthamarseeli Village in Srirangam Island in Trichy District of Tamilnadu. Presiding Deity is called as Venugopalan. He is standing posture playing flute. He is accompanied by Sridevi and Bhoodevi on both sides.
Mother is called as Aravinda Nayaki Thayar. There is a separate shrine for Aravinda Nayaki Thayar on the left side of the main sanctum on the outer prakaram. There is a Madapalli (temple kitchen), temple well and a Garudan sannidhi as in any other Vishnu temple. Idols of Ramanujar and Hanuman can be seen in this Temple.

How to Reach:

The Temple is located at about 11 Kms from Thiruvanaikoil, 13 Kms from Srirangam, 3 Kms from Thirupalaithurai, 12 Kms from Srirangam Railway Station, 15 Kms from Trichy and 20 Kms from Trichy Airport. Uttamarseeli is situated on the way to Kallanai (Grand Anicut). Daily town bus facility is available on regular intervals from Thiruvanaikoil bus stop to Kallanai. Uttamarseeli is only a few bus stops ahead of Kallanai Dam.
