mērī lāja tumhārē hātha hai,
mujhē ḍaranē kī kyā bāta hai,
sa[ann]vārē hama mēṃ tō tumasē pāyā itanā pyāra hai,
saja gayā jīvana hamārā khuśiyōṃ kī bhōśāra hai,
kyōṃ ḍaru maiṃ jaba tū sātha hai mujhē ḍaranē kī kyā bāta hai,
mērī lāja tumhārē hātha hai…
mērī ā[ann]khōṃ mēṃ samāyā śyāma tērā nūra hai,
tērē jalavō sē milē mujhē mastiyā[ann] bharapūra hai,
nā kōī gama kī rāta hai mujhē ḍaranē kī kyā bāta hai,
mērī lāja tumhārē hātha hai…..
hasaratē jīvana kī mōhana tērā mērā sātha hō,
mana tō tērē pāsa hai aba tana bhī aba tērē pāsa hō,
tū hī pitā mērā tū hī māta hai mujhē ḍaranē kī kyā bāta,
mērī lāja tumhārē hātha hai…
śyāma maiṃ tērā dīvānā tū mērā saratāja hai,
